KIRSTEN JOHNSON

Kirsten Johnson is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and holds a BA in Chinese Language from Williams College. Though raised in rural Eastern Oregon, she has called many places home, including New England, California, the Midwest, China, Taiwan, and Norway. She writes about leaving and returning to the inter-mountain West, women, and class. She is currently at work on a novel, set in Taipei, which follows two young Americans navigating a dangerous cult and toxic expat culture.
